Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems on construction sites, including pipe threading, schematics interpretation, and assembly of plumbing components.
- Read blueprints and schematics accurately to execute precise installations aligned with project specifications.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
- Conduct remodeling projects by replacing or upgrading existing plumbing infrastructure while adhering to safety standards.
- Perform routine inspections of plumbing systems, troubleshoot issues using mechanical knowledge, and implement effective solutions promptly.
- Assist with HVAC system components related to plumbing setups when necessary, ensuring integrated system functionality.
- Follow construction site safety protocols and coordinate with team members for seamless project execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction plumbing, site work, or related trades with familiarity in schematics and blueprint reading.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, pipe threading devices, and carpentry techniques.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems and remodeling processes.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or confined spaces as required on construction sites.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) or ability to obtain one is preferred for site transportation needs.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential to precise installations.
- Prior experience with schematics interpretation, pipe assembly, and handyman tasks is advantageous.
