Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems, including fixtures, pipes, valves, and appliances.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and welding techniques to complete installations and repairs efficiently.
- Conduct construction plumbing tasks such as pipe installation, remodeling projects, and system upgrades on construction sites or existing structures.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot HVAC-related plumbing issues and ensure proper system functioning.
- Lift heavy materials safely during installation or repair projects while adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain repairs needed, timelines, and maintenance tips for long-term system health.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction plumbing with a strong background in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
- Hands-on experience with welding, pipe threading, blueprint reading, and schematics interpretation.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems as they relate to plumbing components is preferred.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Knowledge of carpentry skills and handyman experience is advantageous for remodeling projects.
- Demonstrated capability in heavy lifting tasks and working on construction sites with safety awareness.
