Position Overview: As a Paralegal at Harris Keenan & Goldfarb, you will play a pivotal role in shaping personal injury litigation outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
- Drafting and filing pleadings, including summonses, complaints, and bills of particulars.
- Managing a diverse case load at various litigation stages, including trial preparation
- Supporting client intake, initiating file, and maintaining communication.
- Responding to discovery demands, orders, and expert exchanges.
- Drafting discovery-related motions and correspondence.
- Preparing closing documents, including compromise orders and settlement releases.
Requirements:
- 3 years' experience as a plaintiff-side personal injury paralegal.
- In-depth knowledge of legal procedures, regulations, and New York courts.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
- Discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
