We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Mini-Kennel / Mini-Farm Help to join our team! Responsibilities
- Feed, water, and monitor the health of animals in the kennel and farm areas, ensuring their well-being at all times
- Handle animals with care, including dog handling, animal restraint, and behavior management to promote calmness and safety
- Clean and sanitize kennels, animal enclosures, and farm spaces regularly to uphold hygiene standards
- Assist with pet boarding, pet sitting, grooming, and basic veterinary assistance as needed
- Support outdoor work activities such as fencing, yard maintenance, and general farm upkeep
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely during animal transport or equipment handling through team lifting techniques
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and visitors about animal care routines
Qualifications
- Prior veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly desirable
- Experience in pet sitting, pet grooming, or animal care roles is a strong plus
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and animal behavior is beneficial
- Kennel experience or working in a pet care facility is preferred
- Ability to handle animals confidently using proper restraint techniques
- Comfortable performing outdoor work in various weather conditions
- Capable of heavy lifting and physical activity required for animal handling and facility maintenance
- Strong attention to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety protocols in pet boarding environments
- Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients and visitors
