Job Summary
Assist Ophthalmologist/Optometrist in screening, diagnosing and treating patients with eye disorders.
Degrees
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma / GED
- Associates of Science in Ophthalmology (Preferred)
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant: Joint Commission on Applied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology (Preferred)
- Basic Life Support: from an American Heart Association (AHA) or Red Cross approved program
- One (1) Year Work Experience: Ophthalmology/Optometry setting (preferred)
- Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact)
- Bilingual Skills: Spanish or Vietnamese (Preferred)
- Personal Computer

Other Requirements: Healthcare background preferred.
Equipment Operated: Preferred experience with operation of Diagnostic ophthalmology equipment including fundus camera, keratometer, A/B scan, IOL calculations, tonometry, visual fields, etc.
