Information Technology Specialist (Direct Hire).

Duties

• Analyze and evaluate technology systems to identify opportunities for performance improvement, modernization, and operational effectiveness across organizations.
• Develop and refine system requirements, technical documentation, and implementation plans supporting all phases of mission activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and sustain technical solutions supporting mission and operational requirements.
• Provide technical leadership in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex system or application issues impacting mission performance.
• Assess emerging technologies and recommend technical solutions that improve system performance, safety, and operational capability.
• Coordinate activities across multiple stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission objectives, policies, and Directorate priorities.
• Develop and deliver technical briefings, reports, and recommendations to leadership sup-porting informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.

To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level.

• Analyzing and resolving complex technology system or application issues to support operational performance and mission requirements;
• Developing or refining system requirements, technical solutions, or business processes to improve system functionality and organizational effectiveness;
• Collaborating across organizations to evaluate technical needs, implement technical solutions, and recommend improvements based on performance trends or operational requirements.
