Since that time, Harris Doyle Homes has grown to be one of Birmingham’s largest homebuilders, building nearly 1,000 homes in 20 communities in the Birmingham and Auburn, Alabama areas. DESCRIPTION
The general role of the builder is to ensure all homes are built with care and to required specifications. Communicate with Trades, Team Members, Agents, Municipalities and Homeowners throughout the build of each home while leaving a positive impression with each home.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Schedule and coordinate vendors, trade partners, inspectors and others for the construction of new homes in order to maintain scheduled baselines
· Maintain a clean and safe jobsite/work environment
· Maintain all required BMP’s for each home/community under your supervision
· Assist in permitting individual jobs
· Review and approve purchase orders for work performed and materials ordered
· Communicate at least one time per week via telephone with each customer with our sales agent present
· Oversee completion of V.C. List
· Meet with customers on site for walk-throughs and other meetings when necessary
· Participate in weekly team meetings
· Assist in recruiting trade partners
· Maintain a positive and respectful attitude at all times
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a valid driver’s license
- Possess strong soft skills
SKILLS:
- Must have great communication skills, both written and oral.
- Great attention to detail, organizational and prioritization skills.
- Equally success working independent and as a part of a team.
- Ability to work independently, with a strong work ethic, self-motivation and problem solving skills.
