We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead heavy civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all aspects of roadway, site development, asphalt, drainage, utility, and infrastructure projects while ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple construction projects throughout all phases of execution.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with clients, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
- Oversee field operations to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project specifications.
- Monitor project costs, productivity, and profitability while identifying opportunities to improve performance.
- Review and approve project documentation, change orders, submittals, RFIs, and progress reports.
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, environmental requirements, and quality standards.
- Resolve project challenges through effective problem-solving and risk management.
- Support estimating and pre-construction efforts by providing constructability input and project planning expertise.
- Mentor field personnel and foster a collaborative, high-performance team environment.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships that promote repeat business and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of project management experience in heavy civil, highway, site development, or infrastructure construction.
- Strong understanding of asphalt paving, earthwork, grading, drainage, utility installation, and roadway construction.
- Experience managing public and private sector construction projects.
- Knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling software, budgeting, and project controls.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to project sites as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications related to construction management or project management.
- Experience working with DOT, municipal, commercial, or industrial construction projects.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and quality management practices.
