Job Responsibilities
- Manage the maintenance, preparation, and routing of sales orders.
- Prepare accurate bill of lading for deliveries.
- Communicate with freight carriers to ensure prompt pick-up and delivery of shipments, this includes LTL’s, hotshots, and company trucks.
- Arrange/organize the routes for our company drivers daily.
- Arrange same day deliveries when possible.
- Manage the process of distribution and maintenance of MTR’s using a document control system. Making sure all MTRS are accounted for when packing orders.
- Maintain network folders and assist in all inquiries pertaining to MTR’s.
- Manage all incoming will call business.
- Maintain proficiency in computerized systems and other technologies as required.
- Maintain accurate files and documentation in accordance with company policy.
- Follow company policies and procedures.
- Manage sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- 1-2 yrs. Previous Logistics experience
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Researching and resolving all irregular and unusual transactions.
- Strong understanding and appreciation of deadlines and commitment to schedules.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact with employees, customers, and vendors in a professional manner.
- Computer skills-Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
