Traffic / Transportation Engineer

With a strong presence across the East Coast, the firm is seeking a Traffic / Transportation Engineer to join their growing Transportation practice. You will perform traffic & parking studies, transportation studies, traffic management and roadway designs across multiple market sectors including; healthcare, sports, commerical office, retail, mixed-use etc.
You’ll work closely with experienced engineers and planners to deliver high-quality traffic and transportation design solutions for public and private sector clients.
Responsibilities:
- Performing planning and permitting of traffic/transportation engineering, land development and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare traffic impact studies, transportation analyses and safety studies.
- Develop traffic models and simulations using SYNCHRO, HCS, etc.
- Support the design and analysis of roadway improvements.
- Assist on draft proposals and engineering documentation.
- Supervise the work of junior engineers
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Current EIT required OR Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 3 years of experience in transportation / traffic engineering.
- Profiency with software such as Synchro, HCS etc.
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to mentor and lead junior engineers.
