We are partnered with a rapidly growing critical infrastructure company developing complex electrical and electromechanical systems for data centers.
They’re looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to own mechanical design across customer-driven projects, adapting existing products and developing customized solutions for power equipment. This is a design-heavy position combining 3D CAD, electromechanical product development and hands-on manufacturing support.
*candidates must be a US Citizens or Greencard holders
Responsibilities 🔨
- Own mechanical design across customer-specific power equipment engineering projects.
- Modify and customize existing products to meet technical requirements.
- Complete 3D CAD design and manage designs through release.
- Analyze designs and determine required component and feature changes.
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Work closely with operations, supply chain and external manufacturing partners.
- Support sheet metal fabrication and supplier coordination.
- Work across a range of electromechanical power products.
Qualifications 📑
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Min 5 years of Mechanical Engineering experience.
- Strong power generation or power equipment experience
- Strong 3D CAD design experience, Solid Edge preferred
- Strong AutoCAD experience.
- Experience designing electromechanical products or equipment.
- Understanding of sheet metal manufacturing and fabrication.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills.
Nice to Haves
- Experience with CAD/PLM environments.
- Exposure to 3D printing, mold engineering or additive manufacturing.
