Development Manager – Data Centers

We are retained by a global data center developer to appoint a Development Manager to support their North American growth. This is a high-impact role leading sites from LOI through entitlements and permitting, ensuring projects are fully de-risked and ready for delivery.
The Role
- Lead site development, due diligence, entitlements, and permitting
- Coordinate with municipalities, utilities, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Assess site feasibility across zoning, land use, power, water, and access
- Manage schedules, budgets, risks, and executive reporting
- Support early-stage site selection and acquisition activity
Experience
- 5–10 years’ experience in data center or real estate development (North America)
- Strong understanding of zoning, entitlements, and permitting
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders
