Educational Requirements: Master's Degree required; previous experience teaching at least 30 semester hours of undergraduate or graduate mathematics required; knowledge of TI graphing calculators, and familiarity with instructional technology preferred.
Tutors in the Developmental Math Center, supporting developmental Math and Math courses with a co-requisite (like Math 065, Math 101, and Math 103).
Demonstrate subject proficiency
Assist students in understanding subject material
Know basic study techniques
Maintain records of students tutored
Other duties as assigned
The Academic Support Center provides assistance in the anatomy room, developmental math canter, success services for students, supplemental instruction, tutoring center and writing center.
Tutors in the Developmental Math Center, supporting developmental Math and Math courses with a co-requisite (like Math 065, Math 101, and Math 103).
