Prominent family is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and organized full-time, live-in Private Companion to provide daily support for their active, elderly parents who are in good health. They are looking for someone who is patient, attentive, and committed to helping them maintain a safe, comfortable, and independent lifestyle. The couple divides their time between Ocean Reef Club (Florida Keys) for 6 months and Petoskey, Michigan for 6 months. Private living quarters (including separate housing in Florida) are provided, working 5-6 days a week from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing nutritious meals and snacks
- Grocery shopping and household management
- Assisting with medication reminders and general medical support
- Monitoring their health and reporting any concerns to family members
- Providing mobility assistance and helping ensure a safe environment
- Driving to medical appointments, errands, and other activities
- Assisting with technology, including phones, tablets, computers, and video calls
- Providing companionship and encouraging engagement in daily activities
- Performing light housekeeping related to their daily care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience caring for older adults in an upscale setting
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy
- Ability to live in the home and provide full-time support
- CPR/First Aid certification and caregiving or CNA experience are a plus
