Senior Data Scientist – Marketing Analytics
Location: Hybrid – 2 days a week onsite just outside Philadelphia (open to candidates relocating)
Salary: $120,000 base

If you’re a marketing analytics expert who wants their work to actually matter, this role will hit the spot. A philanthropy-driven organisation is building out its data capability and is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to lead the charge on smarter, more accountable decision-making. This is a chance to use your modelling and insight skills to influence how millions of dollars are invested for good.
You’ll sit at the intersection of data, marketing, and strategy — sharpening campaign performance, tightening attribution, and helping the organisation understand which efforts truly move the needle. Expect plenty of autonomy, visibility with senior leadership, and a culture that values curiosity, rigour, and genuine impact.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning marketing analytics across all key channels and initiatives
- Building and maintaining attribution models that give a realistic view of performance
- Running experiments and incrementality studies to validate marketing spend
- Designing data pipelines, dashboards, and automated reporting
- Translating complex analytical output into clear recommendations
- Partnering closely with marketing, product, and senior stakeholders
What you need to bring
- Strong background in marketing analytics and customer-centric data science
- Excellent SQL skills, you should be confident working with large, messy datasets
- Hands-on experience with attribution modelling (MMM, MTA, custom models, etc.)
- Solid grounding in statistics, experimentation, and modelling techniques
- Proficiency in Python or R
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence non-technical teams
- Must be eligible to work in the USA
