About the Role
We are seeking a Forward Deployed Analytics Manager to join an innovative Data Science organization. This role sits at the intersection of data science, customer success, and product innovation, offering the chance to directly influence how complex data is transformed into insights that drive client value.
Unlike traditional analyst positions, this role blends deep technical expertise with client-facing impact. You’ll shape performance narratives, design intuitive dashboards, and collaborate with technical teams to ensure insights are both meaningful and actionable.
Key Responsibilities
- Define KPIs with customer success and sales teams.
- Build and maintain impactful dashboards in Superset.
- Integrate analytics into client-facing demos and UIs.
- Develop scalable pipelines and schema in Snowflake using SQL and Python.
- Write production-ready Python scripts for reporting and transformations.
- Collaborate with engineering on data pipeline optimization.
- Translate raw data and model outputs into executive-ready insights.
- Apply statistical methods to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Support stakeholder meetings with robust, data-driven recommendations.
- Act as the technical bridge between Data Science, Engineering, and Customer Success.
- Lead discussions on metrics, data quality, and visualization best practices.
- Mentor team members in SQL, Python, and dashboard development.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 4–6 years in media analytics, marketing intelligence, or customer-facing analytics.
- Advanced SQL skills (Snowflake or equivalent).
- Strong Python (pandas, numpy, data viz libraries).
- Hands-on experience with Apache Superset (custom charts & dashboards).
- Familiarity with ML model outputs and translating them into client metrics.
- Experience collaborating with engineering on pipelines and integrations.
- Solid grasp of statistical methods and data science fundamentals.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of tools like Tableau, Looker, Mode, or PowerBI.
- Exposure to Airflow, dbt, or data quality frameworks.
- Background in media/marketing analytics and attribution models.
- Experience with real-time data and streaming analytics.
