Nurse (RN/LPN) Detox / Residential
Position Details (Pay & Scheduling)
Hiring Pay: RN $42.00 per hour; LPN $32.50 per hour
Shift Differential Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
Shifts: Night and Day Shifts Available

What You Will Do
- Assess and monitor the physical and emotional health of clients.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assess and document clients' vital signs (TPR, BP sitting/standing while on detox, pain level, pulse oximetry), physical status, and emotional state; report abnormalities in a timely manner.
- Provide appropriate care in case of emergencies, effectively assessing and triaging the situation.
- Chart observations and conditions for the detox period, including abnormalities.
- Accurately complete documentation and chart checks.
- Perform admission nursing assessment and review the admit form.
- Create medical treatment plans based on assessment of medical needs.
- Prepare for and/or perform venipuncture.
- Administer and account for medication following internal procedures and best practices.
- Obtain, carry out, and authenticate physician orders.
- Organize and prioritize shift duties in facility.
- Review daily census and assure accuracy.
- Complete client discharge in a timely and accurate manner.
- Provide guidance and mentoring of LPN and HCA functions.
- Attend 75% of nursing department meetings.
- Maintain compliance with confidentiality laws and regulations, including 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and HITECH, as well as all Harmony policies and procedures.

- Willingness to obtain basic knowledge of the emotional and physical aspects associated with substance use disorders.

What You Bring
- Current Colorado nursing license. Must be in compliance with all licensing regulations and laws.
- Current 1st Aid and CPR certifications
- 1 year of experience in behavioral healthcare setting is preferred.
- Must have valid Colorado driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record if driving Harmony vehicle or driving for Harmony business.
Physical Requirements
- Physical health adequate to manipulate stairway, access all areas of Harmony’s grounds, assist with ambulation and perform CPR.
