Groomer Apprentice / Professional Pet Bather

- Pay: $12.00 – $14.00 per hour hands-on career mentorship
- Job Type: Full-Time Early mornings Every other weekend & holidays required
- Location: In-person (Eatonton, GA)
The Career Path
You will start by mastering the core foundation of professional grooming. Our bathing staff ensures every fur baby goes home looking, smelling, and feeling brand new. For the right candidate, this role is a stepping stone to a full grooming career, offering hands-on training and mentorship.
What You’ll Do
- Bathing & Prep: Wash, dry, and thoroughly brush out dogs and cats of all breeds and sizes.
- Technical Skills: Safely clip and dremel nails, clean ears, and prep coats in a fast-paced environment.
- Safety First: Read and follow specific care notes for each animal to guarantee their health and comfort.
Requirements
- Growth Mindset: Deeply motivated to learn and open to formal grooming training.
- Physical Stamina: Able to work on your feet for 8 hours and lift/hold at least 30 lbs.
- Animal Savvy: Comfortable supervising and handling all dog/cat breeds and temperaments.
- Reliability: Attentive to surroundings Reliable transportation Friendly, team-first attitude.
- Previous experience in a grooming salon, vet clinic, or boarding facility is a major plus!
