We are interviewing candidates for an Sarasota-based Merchandiser / Field Sales Associate. The Field Sales Associate will partner with our Bethel / Harmony resale partners. As part of the day-to-day responsibilities the Field Sales Associate will execute merchandising directives and re-sets, establish a positive rapport with customers, promote product sales within Greater Jacksonville area territories and relay information to their manager regarding opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Clean, cull & merchandise all Bethel/ Harmony products according to Live Good Standards
- Provide support to Field Sales Representative and customers as needed
- Participate in store events, store walks and district events as needed
- Provide customers with product knowledge on Bethel/Harmony brands
- Assist in identifying opportunities for solution selling and incremental space
- Transfer product as needed to maintain effective levels of inventory to promote sales
- Complete store visits and promote product sales as outlined in store/customer assignment list
- Utilize company technology to identify sales opportunities & conduct inventory as instructed
- Face of the company, ability to drive sales and provide excellent customer service
- Communicate issues and ideas effectively throughout the chain of command
- Work effectively and independently to perform all tasks assigned
- Upload photos and answer surveys in FarmSync App as directed
- Utilize corporate software to report time and attendance
- Support and maintain a professional, team environment
- Ensure products are always stocked and presentable
- Ensure proper POP signage is displayed
- Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
- Ability to lift, push and pull 45 pounds and climb ladders
- Current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent years of experience
- Experience in retail, merchandising and/or stocking
- Ability to operate company provided technology
- Ability to pull pallet jack with full pallet of sod
- Problem solving and service-oriented attitude
- Must be at least 18 years of age
