Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
- Pay rate is related to recent hands-on experience
- LNA license status (not required)
- Overnight shift differential included
Schedule
- 3rd Shift (10:00 pm - 6:30 am) - Sunday, Friday & Saturday
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, toileting, hygiene, and mobility
- Follows resident care plans in providing services to residents
- Perform safety checks and toileting rounds on residents
- Document information pertaining to changes in resident’s functional status, personal needs, behaviors, etc.
- Report concerns about residents to supervisor and co-workers
- Respond to resident calls and emergencies; arrange for appropriate medical attention
- Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to resident, facility operations, and personnel
- Review the Staff Communication log on a daily basis for information about changes in resident service needs and/or health conditions
- Do resident laundry as needed, including washing, folding, and returning to rooms
- Perform light housekeeping of common areas
- Assist in keeping the environment safe for residents
- Performs all other duties assigned
Education and Qualifications
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally, with the ability to read, write and understand English
- Able to regularly lift up to 30 pounds, and occasionally lift more than 50 pounds
- Spend long periods of time walking/standing
- Must be at least 18 years of age, with a high school degree or equivalent GED
- MUST be reliable
- Preference will be given to candidates with 1–2 years prior experience working with the elderly, preferably in a residential setting and to who hold a Licensed (or Certified) Nursing Assistant Certificate
