The Alumni Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting clients beyond their time in treatment by fostering a strong, connected, and engaged alumni community. This on-site position assists in planning and coordinating alumni programming, events, and outreach efforts that promote long-term recovery, connection, and support.
The ideal candidate is personable, organized, and passionate about recovery advocacy ? someone who thrives on building relationships and creating opportunities for alumni to stay connected and inspired.

Key Responsibilities
Alumni Engagement & Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Harmony alumni.
- Maintain regular communication with alumni via email, text, and phone, offering ongoing encouragement and support.
- Lead in-person and virtual alumni meetings to provide a safe and supportive space for connection and sharing.
- Assist alumni seeking readmission to treatment, ensuring they receive compassionate guidance and care.
- Connect alumni to local long-term recovery and community support networks.
- Promote ongoing recovery and help strengthen post-treatment community connections.
Programming & Events
- Plan, organize, and host alumni events, volunteer opportunities, and service projects.
- Support recognition activities such as Second Saturday and help facilitate Next Step Group.
- Participate in fundraising events and collaborate with business development teams on tours, and community events.
- Represent Harmony at conferences and industry gatherings.
- Attend TPAS (Treatment Provider Alumni Services) events for professional development and networking.
Communication & Administration
- Maintain and update the alumni contact database and volunteer records.
- Track alumni participation, referrals, and engagement data.
- Contribute alumni stories and updates for newsletters and marketing initiatives.
- Support the Harmony HUB community ? encouraging engagement, suggesting content, and monitoring posts.
- Facilitate collection of Google reviews and video testimonials to highlight recovery success stories.
- Participate in weekly staff meetings to discuss upcoming discharges and ensure smooth client transitions to alumni status.
- Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA and Harmony policies.
