Schedule & Availability
- Hours fall between 7:00am–7:00pm
- Weekend availability is required
- Some holiday availability needed
- Schedule flexibility is essential in this role
Core Responsibilities
This role includes, but is not limited to:
- Handling and training dogs of various breeds, sizes, ages, and behavior profiles
- Supporting behavior modification cases, ranging from anxiety to aggression
- Assisting with and leading Day School groups, including structured play and training
- Supporting basic obedience training and reinforcement of training plans
- Working 1:1 with clients, as well as instructing group activities such as Pack Walks
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe facility (yes- everyone helps)
- Adhering to and upholding training, safety, and facility protocols
- Communicating professionally with clients and team members
- Assisting with content creation, including short training or educational videos, when applicable
Required & Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Reliable transportation
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort handling both small and large dogs (including tougher behavioral cases)
Preferred (but not required):
- Previous experience in dog training, handling, kennel work, or animal care
- Veterinary or kennel experience
- Familiarity with or willingness to learn E-collar training
- Pet CPR certification
- Basic computer skills and comfort using technology
