Job Description:
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and leading therapeutic and recreational activities that promote patient engagement, socialization, and overall well-being.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Plan and facilitate daily group activities for patients in accordance with the program schedule.
-Conduct individual therapeutic and recreational activities as needed.
-Encourage patient participation and provide support during activities.
-Monitor patient behavior, participation, and progress during groups and individual sessions.
-Complete accurate and timely documentation, including group notes, individual progress notes, attendance records, and other required clinical documentation.
-Collaborate with the interdisciplinary treatment team to support patient goals and care plans.
-Maintain activity supplies and ensure activity areas are clean, organized, and safe.
-Assist with developing new therapeutic, educational, and recreational programs.
-Follow all facility policies, safety procedures, and confidentiality requirements (HIPAA).
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in related fields
Hours: 9am-3pm, Monday-Friday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
