Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Customs Brokerage Manager to lead the import compliance and customs clearance operations.
This role oversees a team of entry writers and ensures smooth, compliant, and timely import processing while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the customs brokerage team, including training, workload distribution, and performance oversight.
- Oversee the full import clearance process (ISF, customs entries, audits, billing) and resolve escalated issues.
- Ensure all operations comply with U.S. Customs regulations, HTS classifications, PGAs, and company SOPs.
- Improve department workflows, quality control, and operational efficiency.
- Partner with internal teams (Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal) to support client onboarding and service delivery.
- Maintain customs systems, reporting tools, and provide management with performance and compliance reports.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
- 7 years of customs brokerage or international trade experience, including 2–3 years in management/supervision.
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations (19 CFR), HTS, PGAs, valuation, etc.
- Proven leadership skills with experience developing high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Experience with customs/brokerage systems (preferred).
- Bilingual in Korean and English (required).

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
