Key Responsibilities
- Warranty Support & Customer Service
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer warranty inquiries via phone and email
- Diagnose mechanical and product issues remotely and determine appropriate solutions
- Coordinate warranty claims, repairs, and replacements in a timely manner
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through professional and responsive communication
- Field Service & Travel
- Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair warranty-related issues
- Perform on-site inspections, repairs, and adjustments to equipment
- Document service visits, findings, and corrective actions
- Represent Harlan Global Manufacturing professionally while on-site with customers
- Travel as required based on business needs
- Warranty Documentation & Administration
- Complete and maintain accurate warranty paperwork and service records
- Track warranty claims, root causes, and resolutions for reporting and continuous improvement
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify recurring issues
- Technical & Mechanical Work
- Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild company products and components
- Perform hands-on mechanical work including disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly
- Assist in product testing and validation as needed
- Production & Assembly Support
- Work on the production and assembly line during peak demand or as needed
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety procedures
- Support cross-functional teams to meet production goals
- Process Improvement & Documentation
- Develop and update work instructions for assembly, repair, and service procedures
- Recommend improvements to product design, manufacturability, and serviceability
- Assist in training team members on repair techniques and best practices

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in assembly, repair, or manufacturing
- Experience with warranty processing, field service, or customer support preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
- Ability and willingness to travel to customer sites as needed
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and documentation tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work independently in the field and collaboratively in a team environment
