This position is primarily responsible for distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the facility; and verifying and recording outbound shipments. This position will also be pulling parts on outbound shipments for Quality Assurance inspection by performing the following duties:

This position is primarily responsible for distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the facility; and verifying and recording outbound shipments. This position will also be pulling parts on outbound shipments for Quality Assurance inspection by performing the following duties:
- Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code.
- Fills requisitions, work orders or request for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
- Operates small package carrier, (UPS and FedEx) shipping systems.
- Marks materials with identifying information.
- Open bales, crates and other containers.
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
- Weighs our counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Operates vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
- Forklift experience a plus
- Scanner experience a must
- Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Proficient with inventory control systems.
- Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent time management skills.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- OR one to three months related experience and/or training
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
- Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
