Position Summary
Hark is seeking an associate-level hire to support all elements of the fundraising, investor relations and business development processes. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering strong relationships with our investors, ensuring transparency and effective communication, and supporting our fundraising and deal origination efforts. This role is a critical hire on Hark’s business team and offers potential for substantial exposure and professional development in a high-growth, innovative business. The role requires knowledge of private markets and investor relations, outstanding project management skills and an ability to multitask across various areas of the Hark franchise (fundraising, deal origination, etc.).
Duties and responsibilities
Investor Engagement: Organize and manage investor meetings/events, webinars, conferences, and the firm’s annual meeting to keep investors informed and engaged. Help prepare and distribute quarterly and annual investor reports.
Fundraising Support: Assist in the development of investor materials and presentations for fundraising efforts, as well as coordinating meetings and follow-ups with prospective investors, logging notes and keeping CRM updated
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret fund performance data to provide insights and recommendations for optimizing investor relations strategies, maintain/update repository of data, charts, graphics, presentations, and written responses to be used for various marketing needs
Market Research: Stay informed about market trends, industry news, and competitive intelligence to assist in developing investor-focused insights, update online consultant and third-party databases with firm and investment information
Public Relations: Draft and queue press releases, update public marketing platforms (i.e., website, social media) to ensure brand consistency and that the broader investor community is engaged with Hark
Requirements
- 2-4 years relevant work experience in an investor relations role, either in-house or at an agency. Private Credit or similar finance/investment industry experience strongly preferred.
- Exceptional written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Must be a consummate professional as a representative of the firm and have proven strategic communications experience.
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills with a passion for attention to detail.

Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
