Experienced Line Cook

Hardy’s Kitchen & Bake Co. - Massena, NY

Hardy’s Kitchen & Bake Co. is a busy, growing restaurant and bakery serving breakfast, brunch, lunch, and scratch-made baked goods seven days a week. We’re looking for an experienced Line Cook who takes pride in quality, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and works well as part of a team.

This is not an entry-level position. We’re looking for someone who has previous line cooking experience and can confidently execute orders while maintaining consistency, organization, and a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast, brunch, and lunch menu items to our quality and presentation standards
• Set up and stock your station for service
• Work efficiently during busy meal periods while maintaining accuracy
• Follow recipes, portion standards, and food safety guidelines
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service
• Assist with prep work, inventory rotation, and end-of-day cleaning
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment

Qualifications

• Line cook experience in a restaurant, café, or similar fast-paced kitchen
• Ability to multitask and stay organized during high-volume service
• Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable
• Positive attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Schedule

• Full-time preferred (part-time may be considered for the right candidate)
• Day, evening, and weekend availability required
• Shifts available between 6:30 AM and 8:00 PM, seven days a week
