What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Design Engineer, Buds position at Hardware FYI?

Design a complex subsystem or multiple moderately complex individual parts from concept to production.
Collaborate with suppliers of subsystems or individual parts throughout the design and manufacturing process.
Identify the root cause of design, manufacturing, or reliability issues and develop corrective actions.
Balance design considerations such as functionality, sustainability, reliability, human factors, manufacturability, and aesthetics.
Drive the design, analysis, and prototyping of new concepts.
Manage varied responsibilities across the product lifecycle.
Work collaboratively with internal cross-functional teams including Electrical Engineering, Industrial Design, and Operations.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
3 years of experience designing mechanical components and using CAD tools (3D MCAD, NX, Creo, Solidworks).
Experience in consumer product design and shipping multiple consumer products.
Familiarity with system integration involving electro-mechanical components.
Experience collaborating with global suppliers and onsite factory support.
Knowledge of multiple manufacturing methods used in consumer products.
Master’s degree in a related field is preferred.
