Journeyman Electrician (Non-Union)

If you are an entry level experienced in EMT/Rigid conduit bending, industrial electrical components, conduit routing, AC & DC circuits, and reading schematics, this is a great opportunity to advance your skills. You will work alongside an experienced team who is there to assist you every step of the way.

Electrician Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare work to be accomplished by studying prints and work instructions, and gathering parts, tools, and materials.
• Assemble, install, and test electrical wiring and equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools and standard electrical tools.
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, generators, or other components.
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for repair and to ensure compliance with codes.
• Identify potential improvements and communicate to Production Leads.
• Work directly with Electrical Supervisor, Production Supervisor, and Engineers to solve project-specific issues.
• Maintain departmental documentation as needed.

You'll also need to be able to:

• Lift up to 49 pounds
• Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts
• Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other gear to move items around
• Go up and down stairs (where applicable)

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
