We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Field Engineer - Electrical to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Interpret and review electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide installation processes.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain high voltage and low voltage electrical systems for solar fields, ensuring adherence to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Lead fixture installation, wiring, and connection of electrical components on construction sites.
- Conduct inspections of electrical work to verify compliance with safety protocols and project specifications.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, roofing equipment, plumbing tools, and forklifts safely on-site.
- Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate electrical activities with other trades such as roofing and plumbing.
- Ensure all electrical installations meet safety standards and project timelines while maintaining quality control.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a commercial electrician or in a similar electrical role within construction or renewable energy projects.
- Strong knowledge of high voltage and low voltage electrical systems, schematics, and blueprint reading.
- Familiarity with NEC regulations and safety procedures related to electrical work on construction sites.
- Hands-on experience with fixture installation, wiring, and troubleshooting electrical components in solar fields.
- Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, roofing equipment, plumbing tools, forklifts, and other construction site machinery safely.
- Construction site experience with an understanding of roofing, plumbing, and general construction practices.
- Valid electrician certification or relevant licensing; additional certifications in roofing or plumbing are a plus.
