We’re looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant Clerk to support our Accounting Department and contribute to the company’s financial operations, insights, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to core accounting functions, strategic analysis, and cross-department collaboration.
🔍 What You’ll Do
- Prepare and complete monthly bank reconciliations
- Analyze and ensure the accuracy of company financial statements
- Retrieve and organize financial documents through online systems
- Perform client account analysis and reconciliations
- Execute weekly accounts payable processes
- Support the development, documentation, and enhancement of financial policies and procedures
- Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve profitability
- Assist with annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
- Research missing payment information and develop effective solutions
- Evaluate, model, and maintain ROI projects
- Train and serve as a point of contact for summer interns
- Contribute to special projects that support business goals
✅ What We’re Looking For
- Highly detail-oriented, organized, and reliable
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
- Strong technology aptitude with a willingness to learn new systems
- Solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and collaborative mindset
🎓 Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 3 years of accounting experience preferred
