JOB SUMMARY
The F&B Cashier uses cash registers, electronic scanners, and related equipment to conduct monetary transactions with customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets guests on arrival and regards on departure in a warm and inviting manner
- Prepares and sells all food items on the menu and handles all monetary transactions, such as cash, checks, and credit/debit cards
- Cleans and sanitizes food service equipment used to prepare and serve menu items
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of daily menus and prices
- Conducts opening and closing inventories
- Interacts with guests to maintain great guest relations and provide opportunities for loyalty
- Replenishes necessary supplies, such as salt/pepper shakers, condiments, etc.
- Ensures and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of workstation
- Communicates to management in a timely fashion any guest compliments or complaints
- Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented and thorough with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of menu items and customer service
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Customer service or food & beverage experience preferred

- The employee is required to stand for the duration of the shift.
