JOB SUMMARY
The Beverage Server is responsible for serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in an excellent and timely manner to ensure quality guest service
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greets guests on arrival and regards on departure in a warm and inviting manner
- Takes orders from guests and delivers and dispenses correct beverages
- Demonstrates salesmanship with complete menu and product knowledge
- Ensures and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of workstation
- Performs responsible alcohol service with regards to guest limitations
- Utilizes all bar equipment and point-of-sale systems
- Communicates to management in a timely fashion any guest compliments or complaints
- Performs general upkeep and cleaning duties, such as mopping floors, wiping countertops, cleaning food prep areas, rolling silverware, etc.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented and thorough with strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong and accurate money handling skills
- Ability to work under stress in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge and ability to operate point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of wines, alcohol, and mixed drinks as well as gaming operations etiquette
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 6 months prior work experience preferred
- Must obtain valid gaming license, where applicable
