Position: Office Manager in Training
As the Office Manager in Training, you will work closely with leadership to learn, develop, and strengthen the skills needed to manage a high-performing dental practice. You’ll make an immediate impact by supporting operations while gaining hands-on experience to grow into the Office Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and promote Harbour Dental Care’s vision, mission, and core values while fostering a positive, engaged team culture.
- Assist in leading daily practice operations, KPIs, financial goals, and provider relationships.
- Utilize company systems and tools to support providers, grow revenue, manage schedules, and achieve budget targets.
- Help execute company initiatives on schedule and complete required reporting.
- Collaborate with company leadership to support, guide, and grow the practice.
- Partner with the leadership team to improve patient experience, patient engagement, and revenue cycle processes.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure the premier Harbour Dental Care patient experience.
- Provide ongoing coaching and support to team members, focusing on personal and professional development.
- Participate in all meetings, calls, and daily huddles.
- Assist in managing OSHA compliance, safety protocols, and emergency preparedness.
- Travel up to 25% to support nearby locations when needed.
Qualifications
- 2 years of sales experience, administrative experience or dental experience
- Knowledge of dental terminology, billing, and coding guidelines.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of initiative, accountability, and ability to work both independently and with direction.
- Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and maintain high-quality output.
- Strong critical thinking and reasoning skills.
