The Market President owns their region, develops deep relationships with business owners, sources engagements, and serves as the trusted advisor throughout the M&A process. You will be supported by Harborstone’s centralized deal execution engine, including analysts, CIM writers, buyer research teams, and process management resources — enabling you to focus on what you do best: originating and representing high-quality companies through successful exits.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead all regional business development efforts and originate high-quality sell-side engagements
• Build and maintain relationships with business owners, CEOs, founders, accountants, attorneys, wealth managers, and referral partners
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and evaluate readiness of potential clients for market
• Deliver strategic guidance on valuation, deal structure, buyer universe, and exit timing
• Work closely with Harborstone’s execution teams to ensure superior preparation, marketing, and negotiation outcomes
• Represent Harborstone at industry events, conferences, and networking environments
• Own regional revenue performance and pipeline management with full autonomy
• Uphold Harborstone’s standards of excellence, confidentiality, and client advocacy

• 2 years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or related professional services
• Strong network and proven ability to build relationships with business owners and executives
