Role Description
This is a per-diem, on-site role for a Registered Pharmacy Technician located in Fort Pierce, FL (Hutchinson Island). The Registered Pharmacy Technician will assist pharmacists with preparing prescriptions, compounding, managing inventory, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. Additional responsibilities include ensuring accurate record-keeping, maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations, and supporting operational efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in prescription preparation and a thorough knowledge of Pharmacy procedures and standards
- Experience as a Pharmacy Technician and a solid understanding of inventory control processes
- Strong Customer Service skills, including communication, professionalism, and attentiveness to patient needs
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification PREFERRED or eligibility to obtain it
- Familiarity with state pharmacy regulations and compliance requirements
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a collaborative team
- Prior experience in a compounding pharmacy is a plus
