What are the responsibilities and job description for the Preschool Float and Extended Day Teacher position at Harborlight Nursery School?
Beginning September 2026, join our vibrant early childhood education team at Harborlight Nursery School as a part-time preschool float and extended care teacher! In this role you will provide essential support across preschool classrooms and extended care programs ensuring a nurturing, engaging and safe environment for young learners. Enthusiasm and flexibility will help create a positive atmosphere where children can thrive socially, emotionally and educationally. This position works with a mixed-age group of children ages 2.9 to 5 years old.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Helping with child transitions, developing and implementing curriculum, ensuring child safety, engaging children in developmentally appropriate learning experiences, collaborating with staff to meet children's needs and maintaining open communication with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and behavior.
