Description:Position Summary:To ensure a quality dining experience by managing dining room staff is well trained, knowledgeable about all menus and that all dining room employees are providing a high degree of hospitality and service, in accordance with HRA standards. This position reports to the Director of Hospitality and may be required to supervise other staff positions.Essential Functions:Design, plan, and implement standards, policies, and programs that positively impact the delivery of service to our residentsSolicit resident and employee feedback with regard to customer service standards and programmingEnsures smooth and timely opening of the dining roomInspects side work to ensure completion and closes dining roomEnsures an adequate number of service employees each shift and ensures absences are covered as to not allow coverage holesAssists service staff during mealtime as neededConducts required training sessions, weekly/monthly/quarterlyMake recommendation as to the hiring, firing, advancement and or promotion of staff.Is knowledgeable of all menus and descriptionsProvides supervision for special functionsPerforms Manager On Duty responsibilities when assignedThe ability to work in a safe and alert mannerThe ability to take ownership for associate’s safety and the safety of the residentsMust disclose any medication that might impair associate’s ability to perform the job safely or competentlyNon-Essential Functions:Leads by example exhibiting the CORE Values through servant leadershipEncourages teamwork and promotes company philosophyAttends required community meetings and participates Life Enrichment activities when ableCompletes all required courses in adherence with HRA UniversityIs prompt and able to perform the required duties of the position on a regular, predictable basisBecomes familiar and understands how to report a missing person using the Safe Return program or equivalentAll associates are responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all community residentsRequirements:Qualifications/Skills/Educational Requirements:Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceSERV-SAFE certified or equivalentObtain/hold any local, state and/or county required food handling/sanitation licenses and/or certificates.Must possess a passion to work with and around senior citizens
Salary : $44,000 - $46,000
