What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Outreach Consultant position at Harbor?
Company Description
Harbor London is a discreet, ultra-premium mental health and addiction treatment provider offering a fully bespoke, one-client-at-a-time model from elegant private residences across central London. Our multidisciplinary teams drawn from Europe's leading psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, and integrative health specialists deliver highly individualised residential programmes for complex mental health conditions, substance dependencies, behavioural addictions, eating disorders, neurodiversity, and co-occurring physical health conditions.
As we expand our presence among US-based clients, we are appointing a Clinical Outreach Consultant to represent Harbor London on the East Coast.
Purpose of the Role
To raise the profile of Harbor London among high-value US referral sources on the East Coast, build and maintain a trusted professional network, and provide on-the-ground clinical representation and hospitality support when senior UK-based colleagues and clinicians travel to the US.
This is a strategic, relationship-led role not a sales role. Success is measured by the quality, seniority, and conversion of referral relationships developed, and the reputation Harbor London holds within the Consultant's professional network.
Key Responsibilities

- Represent Harbor London with discretion, professionalism, and clinical credibility across the US East Coast (priority markets: New York, Connecticut, Boston, Washington DC, Palm Beach, the Hamptons).
- Identify, open, and nurture relationships with high-value referral sources, including:
- Private psychiatrists, psychologists, and psychotherapists
- Interventionists and case managers serving HNW/UHNW families
- Concierge medical practices and executive health groups
- Family offices, trust and estate attorneys, and private client wealth advisors
- Boarding school counsellors, college mental health services, and academic advisors
- Select journalists, podcasters, and thought leaders in the mental health and wellness space
- Attend relevant conferences, symposia, and invitation-only gatherings on behalf of Harbor London.
Visit Support for UK Colleagues
- Host, accompany, and logistically support visits by Harbor London's C-Suite and senior clinicians to the US.
- Curate and coordinate meeting schedules, dinners, salons, referrer events, and one-to-one introductions during these visits, working with UK-based marketing support who handle appointment setting.
- Provide briefings on attendees, local market context, cultural considerations, and follow-up actions.
Clinical Representation
- Act as a clinically credible, locally licensed point of contact for US-based professionals exploring referral pathways to Harbor London.
- Communicate Harbor London's clinical model, admissions process, and standards of care with accuracy and authority.
- Liaise with the UK clinical and admissions teams to facilitate warm introductions, not to deliver clinical care to Harbor clients directly.
Market Intelligence & Feedback
- Provide regular feedback to Harbor London leadership on US market dynamics, competitor activity, emerging referral patterns, and opportunities.
- Contribute insight to the design of US-facing collateral, events, and outreach campaigns.
