What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optician position at Harbor View Eye Care, LLC?
Harbor View Eye Care is an optometry and optical practice established in 1977 located in South Portland, ME. Dr. Krishna Krithivas ("Dr. K") is the owner of Harbor View Eye Care. We are looking for a responsible individual to be an optician in our busy eye care practice. Our staff consists of doctors of optometry, vision therapists, opticians, technicians, front desk staff, and billing staff working together as a congenial team. Our goal is to provide the best eye care for our patients as we enjoy our time together as a staff. We take great pride in providing a work environment that is warm and friendly.
Specific duties include but are not limited to: assist customers with eyeglass frame selection, dispense finished eyeglasses to patients, inspect/adjust/repair eyeglasses, submit insurance claims, and perform other general office tasks.

Experience is preferred but not required. We will fully train if needed.
