Position Summary:
As a Commercial Roofing Service Technician, you will investigate, locate, and repair leaks and defects in various commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, PVC, Modified Bitumen, BUR, and low-slope metal. You’ll work under the supervision of a Service Coordinator and Superintendent and be responsible for ensuring all work is performed safely and to manufacturer specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform repair and maintenance of commercial roofing systems (TPO, EPDM, PVC, BUR, Modified Bitumen, low-slope metal, etc.)
- Inspect roofs to identify issues and determine appropriate repairs
- Maintain accurate electronic records of work completed
- Adhere to safety procedures and company standards
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Use technology such as tablets for documentation and reporting (training provided)
Requirements:
- 1 years of experience in commercial roofing
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Able to lift 50 lbs, repeatedly bend, kneel, and climb ladders (up to 60 ft)
- Comfortable working at heights and in varying weather conditions
Working Conditions:
- Field environment with exposure to heights, noise, and all weather conditions
- Frequent standing, walking, climbing, and lifting
- Most travel is local (within 1 hour of Crofton)
