Summary/Objective:

 

Wise Villa is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to manage day-to-day financial and administrative operations. This dual-role position involves handling bookkeeping duties, maintaining accurate financial records, managing office procedures, and supporting the overall efficiency of the business. The ideal candidate will be proactive, trustworthy, and capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


  • Maintain and update financial records using Quickbooks or other software
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Reconcile bank and credit card statements monthly
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting
  • Handle payroll processing and related reporting
  • File sales tax and other compliance reports as needed
  • Support annual audits and liaise with external accountants
  • Oversee daily office operations and ensure a smooth workflow
  • Manager office supplies and equipment inventory
  • Maintain and organize digital and paper filing systems
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and coordinate calendars
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned
     

 

Position Requirements:

 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field required
  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Office Administrator, or similar role
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in payroll operations and inventory
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping practices and accounting principles
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality

Physical Demands:


The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.

 

The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to lift products and supplies, up to 30 pounds.

 

This position does require the ability to perform under stressful conditions and high-volume demands.
