MAD Security Services is seeking new Unarmed Security Officers to join our team! As an Unarmed Security Officer, you will:
- Observe and report suspicious criminal activity as appropriate for the circumstances or as required by the post orders at the assigned site while patrolling on foot.
- Check for unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations, vandalism, and any unauthorized persons.
- Communicate in a manner that is open, honest and responsive in all situations while following emergency response procedures.
- Communicate effectively with individuals at the job sites and emergency personnel in a friendly and professional manner.
- Responsible for maintaining a neat and professional appearance while in a complete and clean company uniform.
- Executes his or her post orders including enforcement of client and company policies, rules, and regulations effectively.
Requirements:
The Security Officer is to perform this job successfully and satisfactorily and must have the knowledge and skills and the following:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- One to two years related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Valid Driver's License or Valid California Identification Card
- California Guard Certificate
- 32 hours of Security Training with BSIS
- 8 hours of Powers of Arrest/Weapons of Mass Destruction Training
Screenings include:

Typical work schedule: 24 - 32 hours/week
Salary: $17/hour
