Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in various construction projects, assisting with framing, finishing, and site preparation. Responsibilities
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other materials using hand tools and power tools for framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, and fixture installation
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications
- Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing tasks as needed on various sites
- Assist with drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, siding, and water damage restoration projects
- Handle heavy lifting and material fabrication safely while maintaining a clean and organized work area
- Support remodeling efforts including flooring installation, tile laying, electrical wiring, plumbing rough-ins, and cabinetry work
- Follow safety protocols diligently on construction sites to ensure a secure working environment for all team members
Experience
- Prior experience in construction estimating or working with schematics is highly desirable
- Hands-on experience with trim carpentry, frame carpentry, metal stud framing, or woodworking projects is preferred
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools (saws, hammers, chisels) and power tools (drills, sanders) in a construction setting
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and technical drawings for accurate project execution
- Experience in restoration industry tasks such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus
- Background in manufacturing or assembly environments involving CNC machinery or fabrication processes is beneficial
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on diverse job sites is essential
