Maverick Motorsports is seeking to hire a talented, highly motivated, customer oriented Salesperson join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and assist customers with motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, products and servicers offered, focusing on features and benefits
- Study characteristics, capabilities, and features between models
- Demonstrate motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs by explaining characteristics, capabilities, features, warranties, service; taking demo rides
- Project positive image and demeanor to customer at all times
- Ensure that customer experience meets company quality standards
- Assist in the presentation of the showroom and sales lot
- Invoice and collect payment from customers for services rendered
- Close sales: asking for sales; negotiating price; completing sales or purchase contracts; explaining provisions; explaining and offering warranties, services, and financing
- Maintain customer records and enter data into computer databases
- Stay up-to-date on our current inventory and use that knowledge to encourage customers to make a purchase; new and used products.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Working knowledge and experience of motorsports products, repairs and parts
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate customer needs to other staff members
- Basic knowledge of computer programs including word processing and database tools
- Organizational skills including the ability to schedule appointments, meet with customers and ensure customer satisfaction
- Exceptional customer service skills based on experience
- Basic mathematics skills to prepare and process sales
- 1 years experience in retail sales and/or previous dealership sales preferred
PHYSICAL FACTORS/WORKING CONDITIONS
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
