Happyland is a Faith-Based Preschool and Kindergarten. You will be required to provide a pastoral reference.
We are looking for a qualified Preschool Teacher Assistant/Aide to help assist in preparing preschool children for PreK and Kindergarten. You must have great love and patience for children. The goal is to contribute to the healthy mental, emotional, spiritual and academic development of the child so they can succeed in the next level of education.
Responsibilities
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies, build self-esteem, and develop and improve their academic skills
- Promote early literacy
- Guide children in developing their capabilities
- Assist in organizing and supervising a classroom for children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Collaborate with other educators
- Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Skills
- Some experience working with Preschool children is helpful but not mandatory
- Willingness to learn safety and sanitation guidelines for classroom
- Good communication skills
- Ability to act as a mediator between children
- Team player, Cool-tempered, friendly and reliable
Education
High School Diploma
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.20 - $18.00 per hour
