Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Brewer role located in Lenoir, NC. The Brewer will be responsible for overseeing and completing all aspects of the brewing process, including ingredient sourcing, brewing, fermentation, packaging, and quality control. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring equipment, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, recording brewing data accurately, and ensuring proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
Qualifications
- Technical brewing skills, including knowledge of brewing techniques, fermentation, and ingredient handling
- Equipment operation and maintenance expertise, with attention to cleanliness and sanitation procedures
- Strong record-keeping and organizational skills for documenting brewing processes and results
- Team collaboration experience and communication skills to work effectively with colleagues
- Physical capability to perform tasks requiring lifting and movement of heavy materials
- Passion for brewing and continuous improvement of processes
- Proven success in new recipe creation
- Prior brewery experience is a required
- Commitment to safety, quality, and innovation in all aspects of the brewing process
