We are looking for a General Maintenance Tech to assist in the daily duties of our Facilities Department. This position will be a key role in assisting with general building repairs and landscaping duties.
Essential Functions
- Responsible to assist with building and ground maintenance including snow removal.
- Responsible for proper use of hand and power tools.
- Responsible to support racing events and all associated equipment.
- Follows, completes and turns in all work request forms.
- Assist other trades as needed.
- Follows safe work procedures and wear all personal protective equipment.
- Helps to ensure compliance with all Federal, State and Local laws and OSHA regulations.
Keys to Success
Our ideal candidate for this role will have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. This position will require the approval of a gaming license from PA Gaming Commission Board. License must remain active throughout employment.
Additional Requirements:
- A working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical, HVAC and carpentry.
- Able to lift and carry up to 85 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to work on ladders, lifts and scaffolds.
- Able to stand, walk, kneel for extended periods of times.
- Able to work in extremes of weather.
