Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored specifically for infants, fostering their physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood development and literacy skills.
  • Design lesson plans that incorporate learning technology and assessment-driven instruction to monitor student progress effectively.
  • Manage classroom activities while ensuring a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for infants.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices in classroom management, conflict resolution, and behavior management strategies.
  • Utilize student performance data analysis to tailor educational interventions and support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education or academic interventions.
  • Maintain detailed records of developmental milestones, assessments, and individualized education plans (IEPs) in compliance with educational regulations.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding child progress, developmental concerns, and classroom activities.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience teaching young children in early childhood education settings or preschool environments.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, literacy education, math fundamentals, and physical education for infants.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs using multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and inclusive teaching practices.
  • Familiarity with assessment tools such as LMS (Learning Management Systems) for tracking student progress and conducting quantitative analysis.
  • Skilled in instructional design, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, families, and specialists.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt teaching strategies based on student assessment data and individual learning styles.
  • Knowledge of educational compliance standards and regulations relevant to early childhood programs.
  • Additional qualifications such as Montessori training or experience working with toddlers are highly desirable.
